La edición 2017 de los Premios Carlos Slim en Salud marca un hito muy significativo, al ser ésta su 10ª edición. A lo largo de estos diez años, dichos Premios se han consolidado como un referente en la región de América Latina y el Caribe. Prueba de ello fue la nutrida convocatoria, en donde se recibieron nominaciones provenientes de investigadores e instituciones de 15 países. Tras un detallado proceso de evaluación de un jurado independiente y el Consejo Directivo de la Fundación Carlos Slim.

23 DE MAYO DE 2017 | GINEBRA - Los Estados Miembros de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) eligieron hoy al Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus nuevo Director General de la OMS.
El Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus fue propuesto como candidato por el Gobierno de Etiopía e iniciará su mandato quinquenal el 1 de julio de 2017.
